Starting as the skipper of Das Boot was not exactly what I had in mind

You’ll notice the poor position of the boat in relation to the ripple that overtook me, the poor hand position on the paddle, zero leg drive, no body rotation, the complete lack of anything resembling any kind of technique… you too can have this much fun in Rozelle Bay!
